Dianna Cohen works as a visual artist and as a founding member of the Plastic Pollution Coalition that hosted the TEDx Great Pacific Garbage Patch. This is her talk, finally released by TED, from the Mission Blue Voyage back in April of this year. It’s short, sweet, and highlights once more the pressing need for marine debris solutions and prevention – rather than simply reaffirming the old tired refrain of “recycle”.
